| Love the costume at the Summerville tree lighting |
My family and I were able to make it out to the Tree Lighting which was so much fun. I could not believe all the people and it just goes to show that Summerville is one of the fastest growing areas in South Carolina. It was wall to wall people but everyone was in a great mood and enjoying the festivities. I was entertained by young children singing Christmas music, I got full eating free cookies (I always enjoy free cookies), enjoyed seeing some costumes, and checked out all the tents and booths. There were also some great Christmas trees that were well decorated. This is what's great about living in a small/medium town. It's not too large to do these fun events, you always see people you know and yet it's not so huge you are miserable being there. The only drawback was finding a parking spot. Afterwards we enjoyed some Kickin Chickin.
I hope some of you are going to the Parade on 12/12. Go early to get a parking spot. Here are some pics of the Tree Lighting.
